Farmers Markets are Back in Allegany County for 2022 Season
Updated: Jun 7
The Allegany County Farmers Market Association reports first two weeks of 2022 season a beautiful success!
The farmers market in Cumberland's Downtown Mall returned on Thursdays from 9:30-1pm, and, the Frostburg market at City Place on Fridays 9:30-1.
Opening day in Downtown Cumberland featured a raffle and live music. We are grateful to the Downtown Cumberland Development Commission for their support!
Two more markets will begin in Cumberland in June. The Canal Place market on Saturday mornings starts June 4th. Our final market begins June 13th at Allegany College of Maryland on Monday afternoons.
All markets continue through October. More information, including addresses and hours, can be found on our Schedule.
Vendor Applications closed for 2022
We saw the return of many longtime vendors and welcomed several new vendors for opening week! More vendors will be joining in the coming weeks and our 2022 season will be in full swing by June 13th.

Seeking Musicians for Markets
Customers enjoyed the live music offered by local singer-songwriter Sam DeMartino on Opening Day in Downtown Cumberland. Live music is also scheduled for May 26th at the McCoury Stage. We are also seeking musicians for our Saturday Market at Canal Place.
Any musicians interested can contact the Marketing Manager through our website for more information or may reach out on our social media pages.
